Migrate emails from Intranet System to New Email System

(For user using Intranet System only)

Step 1: Intranet Account Setting

  1. Click Tools menu.
  2. Select E-mail Accounts....

  1. Select Add a new e-mail account.
  2. Click Next button.

  1. Select IMAP.
  2. Click Next button.

  1. Type your_name in Your Name:
  2. Type your_email_address in E-mail address:
    (e.g. itsc@cfhc.caritas.edu.hk)
  3. Type your_email_address in User Name:
    (e.g. itsc@cfhc.caritas.edu.hk)
  4. Type your_email_password in Password:
  5. Type intranet in Incoming mail server (IMAP):
  6. Type smtp in Outgoing mail server (smtp):
  7. Click More Settings... button.

Select Advanced .

  1. Type Inbox in Root folder path:
  2. Click OK button.
Click OK button.

Click Next button.

Click Finish button.

Step 2: Select emails from mail folder

e.g. Copy 4 emails from the Inbox of the Intranet System to the New Email System.

  1. Select Inbox folder under intranet .
  2. Select emails from the right panel (hold down the Ctrl key to make multiple selection).

 

Step 3: Copy emails to New Email System

  1. Click Go button
  2. Click Folder... button

  1. Select ¦¬¥ó§X folder under Mailbox - User.
  2. Click OK button
