Academic Advancement

The College provides graduates of the Programme with a number of opportunities to pursue academic advancement.

Graduates can upgrade their qualification to a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree through studying overseas for one to two years with universities in the United Kingdom or Australia.

In accordance with our agreements with Middlesex University (U.K.) and the University of Portsmouth (U.K.), graduates may be granted direct admission into the final year of related Bachelor’s programmes. Some graduates also opted to take related Master’s Degree at the University of Warwick (U.K.) and the University of Sydney (Australia) after finishing their first degree programme.

Some excellent graduates may even take their Master’s Degree directly at the University of Leeds (U.K.).

Locally, graduates can attain Bachelor’s Degree status through studying at the Open University of Hong Kong on the basis of credit transfer arrangements of up to a maximum of 80 block credits. And, they may also be granted credit exemptions when taking BA (Hons) Translation Degree Programme (Self-financed) at Lingnan University.
