中心守則

Admission

  1. All Caritas Francis Hsu College students are encouraged to use the Self-Access Laboratory (SAL). For admission, students should bring along a valid Student Identity Card.


  2. Students are required to register and co-operate with the Language Centre staff, instructors and other users to maintain a decent and harmonious learning environment.


  3. The Centre may approve other people to use the SAL for a specified purpose or period.


Conduct of the Users

  1. All users should abide by the Language Centre (SAL) Regulations and follow any other instructions from the Centre staff on the use of the facilities.


  2. Users must not speak or laugh loudly to avoid causing any disturbances to other users.


  3. Food, drinks, umbrellas or anything which may interfere with the proper use and management of the Centre are not permitted inside the SAL.


  4. Smoking is not permitted in the SAL.


  5. Games are not allowed in the SAL. (except the board-games provided)


  6. Mobile phones and pagers should be switched off on entering the SAL.


  7. Cameras, private computer software, CD-ROMs, personal photographic, audio and visual equipment are prohibited in the SAL without prior permission from the Centre.


  8. Bags should be kept at the entrance of the SAL. Users should ensure that their valuable belongings are not left unattended.


  9. The Centre is not responsible for the safe keeping of any belongings left in the SAL.


  10. The Centre reserves the right to remove any items including personal belongings, which are left unattended or occupying seats for over 20 minutes.


  11. Users should show their personal property to the Centre staff for inspection if requested.


  12. Users should keep all SAL equipment and learning materials in good condition and should report any damage to the Centre.


  13. The Centre reserves the right to claim compensation from anybody for damaging its equipment and learning materials.


  14. Users who fail to comply with the Language Centre (SAL) Regulations may result in suspension of Centre privileges. A record will be kept and users will be expelled from the SAL at the request of the Centre staff.


  15. Mutilation or theft of equipment and learning materials is an offence and offenders will be subject to disciplinary actions.
