Television with Video Facilities

We provide audio-visual equipment comprising televisions, VCRs, and DVD/VCD players. Students can watch movies and documentaries in our SALs as a way to practice listening skills. In line with maintaining a quiet study environment, students have to put on headphones when watching movies.
How to Use VCRs ?

Step 1: Switch on the VCR, TV and Speakers;

Step 2: Wait for 10 seconds;

Step 3: Put the tape into the VCR;

Step 4: Press
button;

Step 5: When you have finished, please rewind the tape and put it back to its original place;

Step 6: Switch off all the machines before you leave.
How to Use DVD players ?

Step 1: Switch on the VCR, TV and Speakers;

Step 2: Wait for 10 seconds;

Step 3: Put the DVD/VCD/CD into the DVD player;

Step 4: Press
button;

Step 5: When you have finished, please put the disc back to its original place;

Step 6: Switch off all the machines before you leave.
