Browse the Library webpage at http://library.cfhc.caritas.edu.hk and select "Online Catalogue". Click on the "View Borrowing Record" button and enter your Patron Barcode and Pin. Put a "tick" in front of the item you want to renew and click on the "Renew" or the "Renew All" button. When completed, you will see the "Item Renewed" and the new due date display on the screen. If there is no other user requesting the item, you may renew the item for two times. If you failed to renew the item, please return it to the Library on or before the due date.

To reserve a new item or an item that is checked out to another user, please browse the Library webpage at http://library.cfhc.caritas.edu.hk and select "Online Catalogue". Find and display the book information with the Online Catalogue and click on the "Reserve Item" button. Enter your Patron Barcode and Pin. Then, select the "OK" button to exit from your record. The requested item will be kept for you for three working days after it is returned to the Library.

Patron Barcode is the staff number / student number / CCHES membership card number printed on the Staff ID Card / Student ID Card / Library Card. A Pin (Personal identification number) is a personal password. If you are a student, the default Pin is the first five digits of your HKID, including the letter(s) printed on your Card (e.g. If your HKID number is Z654321(7), the Pin would be Z6543). If you are a staff or a CCHES member, the default Pin will be assigned by the Library and will be sent to you via email.

All library materials are classified by subject. Within the subject class, the English items are shelved in alphabetical order by the first four letters of the author's surname or the title followed by the year of publication, volume number and copy number. Within the subject class, the Chinese items are classified in numerical order by assigning a four-number code of the author's name and shelved accordingly. A call number prefix is also assigned to the call number to provide additional information on the type / format of the material and the item's location. The Library provides sufficient study tables for users in the two campus libraries. You are not encouraged to reserve any study carrel or study table at the study room. However, you may make your reservation at the Circulation Counter for use of the multi-propose room at the Caine Road Campus Library.

Remote access to the e-resources requires authentication through a valid login account and must be

Option 2:
