Audio-Visual Equipment

Cassette recorders, VCR and DVD players are provided in the Library. Users are welcome to use the equipment for their study purposes. When borrowing the equipment, users should register at the Circulation Counter or the Information Desk and should produce their College Identity Cards or Library Cards.

Computers and Printers

Dedicated computer terminals have been set up for users to view reference CD-ROMs in the Library. Networked computers are also available to allow users to access to the Internet, College networked information sources and the Library Online Public Access Catalogue(OPAC). The networked computers equipped with various software applications for users to utilize word-processing, spreadsheets and power point. Card-operated / Octopus-operated network colour laser printers are available for use in the two Campus Libraries. Users can log-on with their student IDs / user name and pins to access to networked printing.

Photocopiers

The Library is equipped with both card-operated and Octopus-operated photocopiers and printers. Users are reminded to make sure that their photocopying / scanning does not infringe the copyright laws. Stored-value cards for photocopying can be purchased at the General Office. Adding value to photocopying card is also available at the General Office. The price for each printing card is HK$25 / HK$40. Printing charges are A4 paper at HK$0.3 (b&w), HK$2.1 (colour) per page; A3 paper at HK$0.6 (b&w) and HK$4.2 (colour) per page.

Study Carrels and Discussion Rooms

Study Carrels are for the use of students and cannot be reserved. For private study or group discussion purposes, library users may book for use of the multi-propose room at the Caine Road Campus Library or the discussion rooms at the Tseung Kwan O Campus Library.
